Lifeless machine. How many die as a forgotten statistic for the vainglory, advancement and commendation of evil men. Open graves, imperceptible to those egos walking through fields of what resembles the living. Buried, forgotten by time. Within the same space, the potential for the very worst and the very best of humanity. Patriotic myths rendered meaningless in the face of reality and those horrors hidden by the play of theatrical appearances. Tales of justice and chivalry, right action, do not apply here, to the facts of realpolitik. Many die for nothing, often for the actions of those who find commendation and undeserved space for monument of recognition. That is the act of remembrance.

But to only face our fears.

Sometimes, whilst we walk through death, as nothing but a moving corpse already forgotten, condemned, by time, and left to dust, we think we are living. It is difficult to control the voices in your head. Pay attention to what they say and listen if you will. The Demons of the past, fear and self doubt, self worth, projected as a mental state into disembodied objects. The calculated coldness of others invading psychic center. If only one can retain ones center paradoxically. If only the theater of past struggles did not as residual imprint survive through the haunting of memory. Listen for what comes from you, and that which comes from others
